The project partners from 6 countries (Poland, Ireland, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary and Czech Republic) summarized the results of the survey they implemented and started working on the requirements for a 50+ childcarer course.
The meeting was held on 5th and 6th of October in Colin, Czech Republic. The partners implemented brainstorming workshops on the basis of the survey results (among 120+ parents and 180+ women 50+). In the workshops the partners discussed:

- the main personal characteristics required for a succesful childcarer;

- the necessary qualification, skills and experience;

- first ideas of the training topics to be included in the Childcarer training course.

On the basis of the personal characteristics defined will be developed a self-evaluation questionnaire for potential childcarers. The personal characteristics will also be used, together with the qualifications, skills and experience for reccommendations towards parents and employers of childcarers.

The next steps inluce developing a structure for course content. All of the results of the project activities will be published in a project brochure and on the project website: https://50pluschildcarer.eu/
